Because I am afraid you will call CPS next
After receiving 4230985 phone calls about Emma's head, I decided I should post a picture. I managed to get this one while she was still asleep. It's not as bad as you thought... right?

lol I just want to know what was going through her head... did she think she had like a 5 o'clock shadow or something, silly child!
It will be a funny story to tell her future boyfriends :) Children never fail to be interesting.

When I was her age, I took Mom's nail file and filed my fingers. They were all ragged and bleeding. I guess I was trying to imitate what I'd seen her doing? Anyway, Emma looks OK - it could be much worse! (Poor Josh - I bet he felt terrible!)
You're right, it's not as bad as I thought. Poor kid!
She can totally play that off as running into a table or something. Not that running into a table at her age is much better than playing with a razor. But it may take the sting off of having to tell other people what REALLY happenend.
